A technology company that delivers engineering — not the other way around

Comtacti is not a consultancy that uses technology as a support tool. It is a technology company that developed, over decades, its own set of hardware, software and methodology to solve a specific problem: producing road inventory that any party can audit, contest or validate — at any time, without depending on the vendor's word.

This positioning has practical consequences. Our clients don't receive just data — they receive the complete traceability of every record: the video frame from which each element was extracted, the operator who performed the classification, the timestamp and the exact GPS coordinate. This is by design, not by choice.

We operate on two complementary fronts: road inventory and urban mobility survey services on one side, and the continuous development of the OMNI7 platform on the other.

History

Milestones that shaped what Comtacti is today

1988

Founded in São Paulo

Comtacti is founded in São Paulo with a focus on transport engineering services. From the outset, the differentiator is the combination of technical rigour and auditable methodology.

2000

Pioneer in 360° video applied to transport

Comtacti begins using 360° video as the basis for road survey and analysis — before the technology was adopted by the industry. This decision shapes the entire future architecture of OMNI7.

2014

First version of OMNI7 developed

Launch of the first version of OMNI7, enabling interface-based asset registration.

2018

iRAP Accreditation

The OMNI7 system and Comtacti team receive accreditation from the International Road Assessment Programme for road surveys and road attribute coding — opening projects with BNDES, IFC and multilateral lenders.

2022

iRAP renewal and PELC 2045

iRAP accreditation is renewed with the same classification. In the same year, Comtacti completes PELC 2045 — over 5,600 km registered in 2 months, demonstrating OMNI7's operational scale.

Today

Over 100,000 km registered

Comtacti maintains active research, innovating daily in its processes and software, while preparing OMNI7 for a future release as an independent SaaS product.
